so... I went and saw the pixies/weezer show the other night... ::sigh:: damn. I am a lucky motherfucker. both weeze and the pixies are, well, my favorite bands on the face of the planet... and i saw them together. man, i was blown away. It makes me really happy that i didn't go to wapred tour this year... it was better than a thousand warped tours. YAY!!!!

so, a few days ago, my crazy rock band, Hooray For Losing played a "show" at some concert hall-ish place. there were like 25 people there, and they were all friends of someone in a band. i'm not much of a braggin- type person guy, but of the 5 bands there, mine was like the 2nd best. i got connections to another local band, Saftey First, which is mega sweet. so hooray for my band. yay.

goddammit. i am so sick of being poor. well i guess it's not being poor so much as it's doing endless hours of pain in the ass housework for minimal amounts of money, while every other person my age in my town gets 100s of dollars without lifting a finger. fuck. rich people piss me off. especially the drummer in my band. he just bought new, top of the line drums. his old ones were fine. while the new drums are really nice, and sound amazing, they are not needed. meanwhile, i spent an hour and a half scrubbing my kitchen floor on my hands and knees, while being told that my step dad could do it way faster, and that i should've had ten years of naval floor scrubbing training. all to make 15 bucks for a cd that comes out next week. mother fucker.

Now she's a little boy in Spain, playing pianos filled with flames.

I think I'm gonna start an emo band and make millions of buxx. it won't be hard. get four or five guys, play weird chords, scream every now and then, and wear girl pants. and lyrics, well they can easily be improvised.just throw phrases like "my bleeding heart" or "paper heart" for those poetic kids. and then maybe something about wings and darkeness and how shitty it is to be a rich kid in the suburbs and then scream every cople of words. by the way, im not going to warped tour this year.

A couple of days ago, in my science class, we were learning about radiation. a girl in my class suddenly says something along these lines:

"so, like, you wanna know something really sad? my next door neighbor has cancer, and she has to get radiation therapy. yeah... she got it from tanning to much, and she, like has a tanning bed in her house, so he's gonna be giving that away.... TO ME!!!"

...and that's not all... about two or three minutes later she says

"is it bad if you don't wear those goggles in a tanning bed? i never do. it's gross."

my brain melted just a little bit that day.
you know, i think i completely give up on the human race. I simply can't beleive how friggin' inept we are sometimes. ::SIGH::
